In Whiteclay, and Off to a Good Start

In Whiteclay and Off to a Good Start

Me and some of my Whiteclay friends
My younger brother Noah and I arrived in Whiteclay on labor day. The last few days have been a whirlwind of activity. Between unpacking, street ministry, setting up my new office space, contacting supporters, and doing a bunch of manual labor for Lakota Hope, there has been almost no free time.
Neither Noah of I have really minded the hectic pace because we love what we are doing. We have been able to spend a lot of time on the street praying for people and building friendships. We also held our first worship service on the streets. The worship brought many of the people in attendance to tears, and through the message we were able to use the story of the pharisee and the tax collector to teach the people about grace that comes through faith alone.
Right now, the Lakota Hope Lodge is just a skeleton a lot needs to be done
before it will be usable.
A short term mission team will be coming out to Work with us soon to help us finish the "Lakota Hope lodge," a new building to house mission teams. We are way behind schedule on the project because of bad weather, so please pray that we would have good weather.
